In July 2019, Challenergy Inc. (President and CEO: Atsushi Shimizu; Head Office: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, “Challenergy”), which develops next-generation wind turbine, “Magnus Vertical Axis Wind Turbine”, raised a total of 600 million JPY, consisting of around 500 million JPY fundraising announced in April 2019. Challenergy will also strengthen tie with the investors newly joined in this round.
