Challenergy was selected by “J-Startup”

Challenergy Inc., Tokyo, Japan (President & CEO: Atsushi Shimizu) was selected by the program supporting venture companies: “J-Startup” which assisted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). This program has started newly from this fiscal year; hold up a slogan “we make company which can compete and get success in the world, so that we provide new innovation to the world,” a total of 92 startups including Challenergy is selected this program from approximately 10,000 all over Japan.
Challenergy starts a demonstration used by 10kW prototype in Ishigaki island from next August, a demonstration in Philippine from summer 2019, with the aim of starting mass production in 2020.Thanks to be selected by this program, we’ll accelerate expansion overseas and widespread Magnus × Vertical Axis Wind Turbine.
J-startup is about:
Top venture capitalist, accelerator, and the person in charge of innovation on big compony recommend several startups from approximately 10,000 company in Japan. External judge committee checks out each company regard of detail. Through strict judgement, selected company identified as “scholarship student.” The community to support J-Startup companies is constructed, that mainly taken by private support organizations, NEDO, JETRO and METI. This community provide more timely and speedy support which connects J-Startup companies with supporters and government agencies.
